Leaving This Nightmare Behind

The little ones they rush around our chambers
Like they've got something so important they must do
Catherine will be home now any minute
Jacob sleeps on peacefully and looks
So much like her

Took a candle to light the torch out in the tunnel
I can still sense the nightmare burning in my veins
It's just another thing that brings
those old fears back to me
I think that Catherine knows I'm troubled
In my sleep, she reads my mind

I was just fine 'til the end of the maddness
When I remember'd losing her in the place I couldn't
find
If that nightmare came true we'd have no future
I'm looking forward to leaving this nightmare behind

Theres a place I really like down by the park lights
Me and Catherine went there for a midnight stroll
Father worries when I won't talk all about it
But Catherine says there's nothing wrong with me
It just takes time

Catherine told me that they would
