Behind the Scenes:
This is a stark departure from my usual warm-and-fuzzy and contemplative videos, obviously. I was going through a traumatic event in my life, and I kept returning to this song–you know how you hear one song that seems to describe your life at that moment and you listen to it over and over? Yeah, eventually I got into a video-making mood, and used this same song. It’s not an ode to the third season and I was very careful to cut out any footage pertaining to such an overt statement, instead depicting some generic instance in which Catherine had parted from him, and Vincent wasn’t sure whether he would ever see her again.

Ron Perlman emotes so well even buried beneath so much latex and makeup, doesn’t he?
