            Winterfest Archives for 2011
You are here: WFOL 2011 Homepage / Winterfest Archives / 2011 Talent Show

One of the main events of Winterfest continues to be the weekend talent show, an audio extravaganza in which fans are invited to share music, poetry, filk songs, original works, even excerpts of books. This year was no exception, with nine people performing more than 40 total works for the amusement of those assembled, on February 5, 2011.

The Wintercandlemakers opted for a new chat service this year, avoiding the use of Yahoo Messenger, which has proved unreliable for us, as well as inaccessible to users who don't use the Windows operating system. Instead, we found ourselves in a new "chamber", at tinychat.com/wfol. I for one was really impressed with this new chatroom, and personally hope it's available next year as well.

As always, please remember that these files are here for archival purposes only. Permission was given to share these. Permission is not given to copy them. Many of these performances are original works, entrusted with us in order to enjoy them. Downloading them to your iPod is fine. Downloading them in order to financially benefit from them is not permissible. Thank you for your understanding. :)
